The Volkswagen Vento is present in two engine options- the 1598 cc , In-line, DOHC petrol engine churns out 104 bhp at 5250 rpm and the 1598 cc, In-line, DOHC diesel engine churns out 104 bhp at 4400 rpm. The engines are mated to 5 speed manual transmission gear box and one variant has the 6 Speed automatic transmission gear box. The suspension system comprises of McPherson strut with stabilizer bar on the front and semi-independent trailing arm at the rear which imparts precise handling and ride comfort even on bumpy roads. The interior of Volkswagen Vento is luxurious with superior livon fabric upholstery, high quality scratch resistant plastic interiors, trunk illumination and sunglass holder inside glovebox. The exterior features include halogen headlights, body colored bumpers, chrome finish on front grille, body colored exterior door handles and headlamps in black finish.
