The Indian automobile industry is all set to accord a red carpet welcome to many more exciting sedans from well known Indian car manufacturers and foreign car manufacturers in the future. Manufacturers are busy rolling out luxury and super-luxury sedans on Indian roads along with the usual mid-sized sedans. As per a recent study conducted by experts in the auto industry, the five listed cars will hit Indian roads next year and gain a greater importance than others. Here is listing the Upcoming Sedans that are expected to make their entry into the Indian auto market.

Honda Amaze

Honda has been delivering some of its classy sedan models to Indian market since over a decade. Honda Brio was one of its recent entry level models presented to the market to reach larger part of population. Now the buzz is all about another entry level sedan from this Japanese car maker. The car is called Honda Amaze and it is said to be the sedan version of Honda Brio.

The car is expected to use i-DTEC engine which utilizes new fuel injection methodology and does exhaust gas circulation in a better way to achieve higher efficiency. Honda Amaze will be available in 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. It would be the first diesel model from Honda in India. The use of i-DTEC makes the engine quieter and gives smooth performance with consistent torque distribution throughout rpm scale.

The wheel base of Honda Amaze is longer than Brio and this increases knee room in the cabin. Many other characteristics of interior may remain same as that in Honda Brio. The exterior structure leans forward and two lines protruding out of the body surround and decorate body surface. Chrome plated thick strips for front grille with Honda logo at center gives an introduction to Honda Amaze.

The car has high expectations both from consumer and company side. It is expected to take off by mid 2013. It may be priced in the range Rs 7 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
