The Indian automobile industry is all set to accord a red carpet welcome to many more exciting sedans from well known Indian car manufacturers and foreign car manufacturers in the future. Manufacturers are busy rolling out luxury and super-luxury sedans on Indian roads along with the usual mid-sized sedans. As per a recent study conducted by experts in the auto industry, the five listed cars will hit Indian roads next year and gain a greater importance than others. The inflation has given a tough time to the car industry and to combat the crisis, the car manufacturers are coming out with vehicles having alternate fuel options like LPG and CNG.

Mahindra-Renault will introduce the LPG and CNG variant of its successful sedan, the Logan. Both the version will be powered by 1.6 petrol engine, adding up an extra burden of upto Rs 50,000 or more. The Logan is a result of the joint venture between the French auto manufacturer the Renault and the Indian auto giant Mahindra and Mahindra. Mahindra-Renault Logan has bagged several prestigious industry accolades for Best Entry Midsize Car in Initial Quality, and has also won ‘Car of the Year 2007’ title.
