Upcoming Sedans in India
The Indian automobile industry is all set to accord a red carpet welcome to many more exciting sedans from well known Indian car manufacturers and foreign car manufacturers in the future. Manufacturers are busy rolling out luxury and super-luxury sedans on Indian roads along with the usual mid-sized sedans. As per a recent study conducted by experts in the auto industry, the five listed cars will hit Indian roads next year and gain a greater importance than others. Here is listing the Upcoming Sedans that are expected to make their entry into the Indian auto market.
Maruti Suzuki Kizashi
The Maruti Suzuki Kizashi will mark the entry of Maruti Suzuki India into the D segment of cars. The car comes with two engine options such as a 2-litre turbo diesel engine and an advanced four-valve turbo-fired two-litre petrol, Euro V engine. The crossover sports sedan is expected to have a have a 6-speed transmission, ground breaking technologies and large 21" alloy wheels. Having been showcased in the concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2007 and at the Auto Expo in New Delhi in 2008; the car is expected to be launched in India in the first quarter of 2010. This first all-wheel drive sedan is expected to be priced higher than Rs 10 lakh.
