The Indian automobile industry is all set to accord a red carpet welcome to many more exciting sedans from well known Indian car manufacturers and foreign car manufacturers in the future. Manufacturers are busy rolling out luxury and super-luxury sedans on Indian roads along with the usual mid-sized sedans. As per a recent study conducted by experts in the auto industry, the five listed cars will hit Indian roads next year and gain a greater importance than others. Here is listing the Upcoming Sedans that are expected to make their entry into the Indian auto market.

Ford Focus

Ford has been contemplating the launch of the sedan version of Focus for some time now and it has finally decided to launch it at the end of 2008. The buyers will have a wide variety of engine choices, which includes Ford’s 1.6 TDCi diesel that generates 90 bhp and is designed with the intention of gaining an attractive fuel economy; a 1.8-litre Duratec petrol engine that cranks out 125 bhp; and a more efficient and powerful 2.0-litre diesel engine that will be rolled out later in the year. The Focus will also feature Ford’s powershift automatic transmission. It is expected to have an estimated starting price of Rs 11.5 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
