Upcoming Sedans in India
The Indian automobile industry is all set to accord a red carpet welcome to many more exciting sedans from well known Indian car manufacturers and foreign car manufacturers in the future. Manufacturers are busy rolling out luxury and super-luxury sedans on Indian roads along with the usual mid-sized sedans. As per a recent study conducted by experts in the auto industry, the five listed cars will hit Indian roads next year and gain a greater importance than others. Chevrolet Volt
The Chevrolet Volt was displayed to the public in the North American Auto Show in 2007 and later in the Shanghai Auto Show. The Chevrolet Volt from General Motors stable is a plug in series hybrid electric vehicle which would have a global launch in 2009. The Volt is GM’s first electric car that can drive up to 64 km per day without gas or environmentally harmful emissions. Unlike traditional electric cars, Chevy Volt has a revolutionary propulsion system. It will use a lithium-ion battery with a gasoline-powered, range-extending engine.
