Upcoming Coupes in India
The Indian car market that holds a tradition of four-door sedans is now gradually entering into the stylish coupe segment. Coupes are closed car body style which usually have hardtop with 2 doors offering either two seats or four seating option. These two door cars are acclaimed globally for their style, speed, and performance and now slowly marking their status symbol in the Indian car market. Audi A5
The Audi A5 is expected in India by the end of 2009. The A5 is a coupe that changes the concept of car design. It has a vintage appeal with contemporary style. The A5 comes with a flat roof and a sweeping touch of the roofline. Audi A5 has a long wheelbase and a broad wheel track that provides superlative directional stability. The car has a 360 degree safety concept. It features a two-stage full-size air-bag for the driver's seat. The front seats feature airbag back guard in case of a rear-end impact. There is child-safety measure too fitted in the rear. The A5 is likely to be available in four variants. The two diesels versions will come with 2.7V6 and 3.0-litre TDI engines and two petrol units will have 3.2V6 and 4.2V8 engines.
