Audi A3

Buzz is that Audi is all set to roll out its much-awaited third generation Audi A3 that is likely to hit Indian roads by 2013-2014. With this reasonably priced saloon, Audi eyes to occupy the top slot in the premium sedan market in India with this upcoming car. Lighter, nicer, sharper and faster, the new Audi packs a plethora of firepower and heaps of comfort. Audi will initially launch A3 with two TFSI power plants, a 121 bhp 1.4-litre engine and a 178 bhp 1.8-litre engine. The 1.8-litre engine will have a seven speed twin-clutch S-tronic transmission, while the 1.4 litre engine will have a six-speed manual gearbox. Audi also plans to release a Quattro four-wheel drive version of the A3.
