Toyota Prius, the first hybrid wagon to roll out of Toyota’s mill isn’t just the most eco-friendly car to have on the roads, but is versatile and fuel efficient in every sense of the term. This full hybrid mid-sized mass-produced sedan comes with a powerful petrol engine and an electric motor and boasts of a spate of impressive safety and comfort features. The Prius hybrid car is available in two variants and comes as a CBU in India.

Features:

The Toyota Prius is powered by a 1.8-litre 2ZR-FXE engine and a nickel-metal hydride (Ni MH) battery that delivers 134 bhp of power. The Prius features Electrically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

The suspension system has MacPherson struts gas-filled shock absorbers with a stabilizer bar at the front and trailing arms, gas-filled shock absorbers with torsion beam at the rear.

Exterior and Interior:

The exterior of the hybrid-car has been crafted to reduce air resistance It flaunts aggressive and large front air dam, 15” alloy wheels, stylish front headlights, tail lamps and electric detract door mirrors.

The spacious inside comes with ample room for luggage, flexible front seats, retractable saddle-type headrests on the rear seats, electronic shift lever and more.

Safety:

The collision-proof car comes loaded with top-notch safety features like SRS driver airbag, front passenger airbag, SRS driver knee airbag, side airbags and curtain shield airbags. The EPS-VSP integrated control system integrates and controls VSC, ABS, EBD and Traction Control system.

Colors:

It is available in White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Beige Metallic and Abyss Grey Metallic shades.

Toyota Prius is priced 27.38 lacs for the base variant and 29.40 lacs for the top end.
