Toyota has brought the legendary Land Cruiser, a truly dominant 4WD vehicle that has been running on roads across the world for over 50 years. Over the years, the Land Cruiser has emerged not only as a flagship model in Toyota's SUV lineup but has also been an integral part of the lives of a wide variety of people. As Toyota claims, over 5 million Land Cruiser units have been sold globally which makes it one of the most successful SUVs in the world.

Described often as the 'King of SUVs', the Land Cruiser blends ultimate driving experience and luxurious interior/exterior with comfort features and complete freedom of movement, strength, durability, reliability and outstanding off-road performance.

The new seven-passenger Land Cruiser comes in two options. One has 9 speakers and the other has an advanced 6-DVD, 14 JBL premium speaker systems with EMV screen and a moonroof.

A robust 4.5-litre Common Rail V8 diesel engine rated at a peak power output of 282 bhp and 650 Nm of torque is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission on the new Toyota Land Cruiser. The driver can select the shift range to deliver driving control of a manual transmission through the newly developed 6-speed Super ECT's sequential shift control.

The innovative Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System offers both on-road stability and a long suspension stroke for off-road exploration. Front and rear stabilisers are linked by a hydraulic pressure system, suppressing body roll that may occur while driving at high speeds.

The bold and stylish front-end grille represents a steadfast and majestic stance. Front and rear combination lamps boost the vehicle's visibility in the dark and a rear spoiler featuring a LED high-mount stop lamp alerts drivers of trailing vehicles of the Land Cruiser's braking. Rain sensing wipers automatically activate the front wipers when they detect rain droplets.

The interior has a choice of a five or seven-seat configurations and a versatile seat folding option offers ample space for luggage. The SUV comes with an advanced world-class four zone air-conditioning system where each passenger has independent temperature control facility. Other notable interior highlights are heated driver's seat with personalized memory settings, power adjustable front seats, steering wheel mounted controls for audio, voice and phone, new design Optitron instrument cluster, cruise control, 28 air outlets with rear a/c vents, and premium quality audio system with EMV screen, 6 DVD changer, and 14 JBL speakers.

Advanced safety features on the Toyota Land Cruiser include Unique Crawl Control System, enhanced Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS), Hill Assist Control, Multi-Terrain ABS system, 10 airbags with Seat Position Sensors, Active Traction Control, Vehicle Stability Control, and Clearance and Back Sonar (to assist in cornering/reversing).

The multi-terrain anti-braking system (ABS) constantly monitors engine revolutions and vehicle speed, instantly adjusting wheel-slippage regardless of surface conditions. The Hill Assist Control further assists to smooth hill starts making the Land Cruiser suitable for mountainous terrain.
