From catering to a small niche of buyers to becoming one of the key automotive players in the country, Toyota’s fortunes have hit a jackpot with the launch of Etios Sedan. And Etios Liva hatchback is just another feather in its cap. The DNA of both the Etios’ are same, although the hatchback is a tad bit more stylish and far cheaper than its sedan sibling. The Liva comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.4-litre diesel engine option. The variants such as: J, G, G special edition, V, VX, GD and GD special edition.

Features:

The Toyota Etios Liva is available in two engines — 3NR-FE, Gasoline, 4-Cylinder 1.2 litre or 1197cc 16V, DOHC engine and 1ND-TV, Diesel, 1.4L, SOHC engine. The engine belts out a power of 78 bhp at 5600 rpm and maximum torque of 104 Nm at 3100 rpm. The engine is mated with an immensely slick 5-speed manual transmission gearbox.

The hatchback is outfitted with MacPherson strut in the front and torsion beam in the back. The ventilated disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear just hikes its safety level and control.

Exterior and Interior:

On the exterior, Toyota Etios Liva flaunts a smiling grille, sporty front bumper spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper spoiler and roof spoiler — all of which increases its appeal.

Apart from swish interiors, Etios hatchback is furnished with a slew of features like EPS with a tilt, audio with remote, AC with clean air filter, cooled glove box and flat type rear floor.

Safety

Etios Liva comes with SRS airbags, centre meter design, and ABS with EBD that makes this car as safe as a cocoon.

Color

The hatchback comes in a choice of seven striking colors including Vermilion Red, Celestial Black, Serene Bluish Silver, White, Symphony Silver, Harmony Beige and Ultramarine Blue.

Price

The petrol version is priced somewhere between 4 lacs to 6.15 lacs while the diesel variants would cost you anything from 5.80 lacs to 6.11 lacs.
