Skoda Superb

Skoda introduces the new Superb that brings a 7-Star experience with its superior styling and innovative engineering. The new Superb is escorted to the Indian car market with great expectations. The old Superb made a good impression in India with its magnificent performance and style. The latest version will follow the legacy of Skoda. The Superb's striking exterior style with distinctive interior features offer a strong visual emotion. Intelligent styling lines and a bold appearance define the unique nature of this car.

Superb is available in two petrol variants and one diesel variant. The petrol version gives and choice of two engines- 1.8-litre turbocharged engine that generates 160 bhp and 3.6-litre V6 engine with an output of 260 bhp. The diesel version sports a 2.0-litre Turbocharged, engine delivering 140 bhp.

The 1.8-litre engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic manual gear changing compared to a 5-speed automatic gear box in the old Superb. The 3.6-litre petrol engine and 2.0-litre diesel engine sports a 6-speed automatic gearbox with Tiptronic manual gear changing. The new Superb also comes with a well-tuned front and rear suspension.

The philosophy behind Skoda's designs is clearly reflected with a new front radiator that is enhanced with chrome detailing adding a vintage-type look to the car. The all new Superb gets stylish 16-inch alloy wheels. Other attractive features like an outside rear view mirror with indicators, electric sunroof, automatic shut boot lid, and automatic rain sensing windshield wipers come as standard on the new Superb.

The interior gets upgraded with Ivory Nappa leather upholstery and a 12-way electrically adjustable driver seat with programmable memory. The music creates magic whilst driving with Skoda's audio player and amazing 6.5-inch LCD colour touchscreen. The dual zone climatronic and automatic air circulation with air quality sensors ensures an optimum environment within the cabin regardless of the weather outside. The new Skoda Superb gets the best of safety and security features such as 8-airbags including side rear airbags, ABS with electronic brake force distribution, anti-slip regulation (ASR), traction control system, electronic stability system, tyre pressure monitoring, and engine immobilizer with floating code.
