Maruti Suzuki Launches 2009 Grand Vitara

03 July, 2009 : Maruti Suzuki has announced the release of the new edition of the high end SUV Grand Vitara. The car is upgraded with a more powerful and larger 2.4-litre petrol engine with VVT (Variable Valve Timing) technology that can deliver a power of 163.5 bhp. The new Grand Vitara 2.4 is being offered in two variants: 5-speed Manual Transmission and 4-speed Automatic Transmission.

Maruti-Suzuki Awards Autoliv India

30 June, 2009 : Autoliv India has been presented with the Maruti Suzuki Overall Excellence Gold Award. This award was presented to Autoliv India for the successful launch of the first airbag project in India in Maruti Suzuki A-Star. Ford to launch Small car by 2010

30 June, 2009 : Ford Motors is expected to launch a small car in India by the early 2010. The company has already started testing the trial product of its small car. There are assumptions that the small car will be localised around 85% from the beginning to the production phase.

SBI Offers Car Loans on Reduced Rates

29 June, 2009 : State Bank of India will be launching a new car loan scheme ‘SBI Ezee’ for financing new cars on July 1. As per this scheme, SBI will charge interest rates as low as 8 percent for the first years of the car loan repayment tenure.
