Rolls Royce Ghost

The Rolls-Royce Ghost is a smaller version of the Phantom but technically more advanced than the Phantom. The car is named "Ghost" to honour the Silver Ghost which was first produced in 1906. Rolls Royce announced the Ghost in April 2009 at the Auto Shanghai Show but was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Rolls-Royce Ghost boasts of a 6.6L twin-turbo Charged V12 powerplant under its bonnet which is paired with an 8-speed automatic ZF transmission to give a 'magic carpet ride'. The engine can churn out a robust 563 bhp@5200 rpm and a torque of 780 Nm@1500 rpm. The Rolls-Royce Ghost can also boast of the whisper-quiet interior. Coming to the inside of the Ghost, the simple yet contemporary interior with large expanses of soft full grain leather, natural wood veneers and Blenheim wool carpets, cashmere-blend roof lining and the optional Panorama sunroof will pamper you to the core. Systems such as Active Roll Stabilisation, four corner air springs and Variable Damping Control operate as one, imperceptibly to the driver and passengers to provide the best possible comfort for occupants.
