26 December, 2007 : It says when you leave your career at the pinnacle; you keep your fan following intact. Perhaps, big brother Schumi (Michael Schumacher) has advised his brother Ralf Schumacher to retire from F1 rather than prolong his career with an uncompetitive car.

“I don’t know what his ambitions are, but crawling around in this car – I don’t even know what it’s called – he should not do that to himself,” Michael was quoted as saying by Auto Motor und Sport magazine.

Ralf, who split with Toyota recently, had an unhappy test with Force India at Jerez and admitted afterwards that his F1 career might have reached an end. Elder Schumacher added that Ralf is young enough to take a sabbatical and come back to F1 if his enthusiasm was rekindled and the right opportunity arose.
