The all-new SUNNY is an affordable mid-size sedan with luxury and comfort features that are similar to that of premium Sedans. The SUNNY is notable for its sophisticated looks, spacious interior and a larger trunk. It derives power from a 4-cylinder 1.5-liter DOHC 16 valves petrol engine rated at 99 PS of power @ 6000 rpm and from a 4-cylinder 1.5-liter SOHC 8 valves diesel engine rated at 86 PS of power @3750 rpm. A smooth-shifting five speed manual gearbox transmits power to the wheels delivering a fuel efficiency of 16.95 kmpl of petrol and 21.64 kmpl of diesel.The Nissan SUNNY is available in five varied trims. The entry level Nissan Sunny XE has body colored bumpers, roof antenna and tinted glasses as standard besides ABS, EBD and driver airbags. The mid-level XL features front passenger airbags, door ajar warning and automatic AC while the top of the line XV is equipped with alloy wheels, intelligent key with push button ignition, stereo mounted controls and front fog lamps apart from various attractive features.
