Skoda Laura
The Skoda Laura comes with a blend of exterior elegance, outstanding performance and functionality. In India, the car is offered in four variants: Laurin and Klement, Elegance, Ambition, vRS. These variants are available with a choice of three engines: 1.8-litre TSI and 2.0-litre TDI PD that generate 160 bhp, 105 bhp, and 140 bhp, respectively. The exterior of the car is beautifully adorned with chrome front grille, flared headlamps, new taillamps with a chrome central insert, and turn indicators in the external mirror. The interior is packed with a host of functional features including interior door handles, plush Ivory upholstery, 12-way electrically adjustable driver seat, heated front seat, sophisticated audio player with 6.5 inch LCD TFT colour touch screen, and audio controls mounted steering wheel. Safety in the 2009 Laura is ensured by features like airbags, anti-lock brakes, active front head restraints, tyre pressure monitoring, anti-slip regulation, xenon curve projector headlights, electronic stability programme, electronic differential lock, and electronic brakeforce distribution.
