Maruti Suzuki Ritz is the first BSIV complaint car in India with technologically advanced high performance engine and best in class fuel efficienc. The variants available are LXI, VXI and ZXI in petrol and MC LDI, MC VDI and MC ZDI in diesel. Maruti Suzuki Ritz is available in two engine options - petrol and diesel. The 1197 cc petrol engine churns out 83.8 bhp @ 6000 rpm whereas the 1248 cc diesel engine churns out a maximum power of 73.9 bhp @ 4000 rpm. The engines are mated with 5 speed manual transmission gear box The suspension system of Maruti Suzuki Ritz comprises of McPherson strut and coil spring in the front and torsional beam and coil spring at the rear. The interior comprises of 60:40 split rear seat, foldable grip assistant, front door trim pocket, front seat head restraint (adjustable), roof antenna, cupholder in console, clock, anti-glare interior rear view mirror and accessory socket. The exterior features body colored bumpers, internally adjustable manual ORVM (both sides), black colored B pillar, hub caps, rear window defogger and alloy wheels.
