Volvo has showcased its C70 convertible at the recently held Auto Expo in India and received a good response. This second generation convertible will be introduced in 2008 at dates that are yet to be announced. This car represents Volvo’s core values: Safety, quality and eco-friendliness. The attractive C70 has a first-in-the-world three-piece retractable hardtop that transforms the vehicle from convertible to coupe within 30 seconds. The model is available in three petrol variants: 2.4, 2.4i, and T5 and two diesel variants: 2.0 and D5 across the world. But its not known yet which variant Volvo has planned for Indian release. The high-end T5 or D5 variant is expected.
