Toyota Prius Cars in Hyderabad

Toyota Kirloskar Motors, the Indian arm of Toyota Motor Corporation has rolled out the Prius hybrid car in India. The Prius is the first mass-produced hybrid car of the world. The Prius is equipped with 3 modes of driving: power mode, eco mode and EV mode. The Prius is strapped to a 1.8-litre litre 2ZR-FXE petrol engine and a nickel-metal hydride (Ni MH) battery pack. It features Electrically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and the combined total power of the engine and the electric motor as a hybrid system is 134 bhp. The Prius can do a 0-100km dash in 9.2 seconds. The Prius comes loaded with safety features that include seven SRS airbags, front and rear crumple zones, Active Headrest, EPS-VSP (Electric Power Steering-Vehicle Stability Control), ABS, EBD and Traction Control system.
