Renault Pulse is an aggressive attempt on the part of the company to launch a highly competent car, customized for the Indian markets. The car, launched on the second day of the Auto Expo, 2012, has been priced at Rs5.77 lakhs (ex-showroom). The compact car is all set to storm the market with its bold and sporty design, fuel efficiency, dynamic driving experience and smart features. The car is powered by a fuel efficient 1.5 dCi diesel engine, produces a maximum power of 63 bhp @4,000 rpm while maximum torque of 160 Nm is produced at 2,000 rpm and is mated to a five speed manual transmission. With an impressive mileage of 23.08 kmpl on the highways and 19.4 kmpl on the city roads, the hatchback is an ideal car. The car boasts of features such as power steering, keyless entry, rear cup holder, four electrically adjustable windows, start/stop engine switch and automatically folding mirrors when the car is locked. The big O type display for the air conditioner with climate control does not fail to impress.
