The all-new C-Class sets new standards in the entry-level luxury sedan segment with its innovative technology, array of safety features, plush interiors and exceptional power. The car exudes a distinctive aura of class, style, and comfort. It is available in four variants in India- a C200 Kompressor (MT/AT), C220 CDI (MT/AT), C63 AMG, and C 230. C 220 Special Edition is also available. The C200 Kompressor is equipped with a supercharged 1.8-litre petrol engine that delivers 178 bhp, while the C220 CDI is powered by a CRDi 2.2-litre diesel engine that produces 170 bhp. The AMG version is powered by a 6.2L V8 engine with an output of 457 bhp whereas 204 bhp C 230 sports a 2.5L V6 engine. The exterior is adorned by a wide set of quad-ovoid headlights, revised taillights, and prominent fender flares. 7-spoke alloy wheels accentuate the elegance of the sedan. The special edition of the car that is available in both petrol and diesel version has 17" 5 twin spoke alloy wheel, Universal Media Interface, and more safety with the PRE-SAFE preventive protection system. The car packs plenty of impressive safety features that is typical of Mercedes.
