Maruti Suzuki Swift DZiRE

The Swift DZiRE is a new sedan for India from Maruti Suzuki that is based on the popular hatchback model Swift. The exterior styling of this sedan resembles its hatchback sibling a lot. It sports the same sporty front and side profiles as the Swift. The rear of the new sedan looks similar to Maruti's other sedan model SX4. European styling, good comfort, and unbeatable performance are some of its highlights. The DZiRE is available in both diesel and petrol variants. The available variants in petrol are LXi, VXi, and ZXi. The diesel versions are LDi, VDi, and ZDi. The car gets the same 1.3L 4-cylinder petrol and 1.3L 4-cylinder CRDe diesel engines as the Swift hatchback. The engines are coupled to a suave 5-speed manual transmission. Well-appointed interiors with a host of luxury features and a spacious trunk (about 450 litres) make travelling over long distances very comfortable. It is packed with a host of safety features such as collapsible steering, child safety locks, front and rear seatbelts, and dual side-impact beams. The top-end variants ZXi and ZDi come with ABS and dual front airbags. An iCATS engine immobilizer is standard on all variants.
