Maruti Suzuki Eeco

Maruti Suzuki has introduced the replacement of its Versa MPV with the Eeco at the 2010 Auto Expo. The Maruti Suzuki Eeco is competitively priced to give touch competition to other cars in the same segment in the price-sensitive Indian car market. The Eeco is available in four variants, the 5STR STD, 5STR A/C and 7STR STD, 5STR STD A/C CNG. All the three variants come with an 1196 cc rear drive petrol engine which is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission with Diagonal Shift Assistance (DSA) technology. The engine can give a power output of 73 bhp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 101 Nm at 3000 rpm. The Eeco 5STR STD and 5STR A/C can accommodate 5 passengers in their two rows of seats while the 7STR STD has a seating capacity for seven people in three rows of seats.
