The BMW X3 is a Crossover SUV that has been launched India. The BMW X3 is available in two variants namely xDrive20d variant and xDrive30d variant. The SUV, available only in its diesel version in India is currently in its second generation. The xDrive30d variant of the car is equipped with a 6-cylinder diesel engine which produces 258 bhp while the xDrive20d is equipped with a 4-Cylinder diesel engine which produces 184 bhp and torque of 380 Nm. The 8-Speed automatic transmission assists in shifting gears smoothly while the automatic start/stop functions and brake energy regeneration help in curbing fuel wastage. Other luxuries in the car include heated rear seats and steering wheel, Bluetooth streaming audio, multiview parking cameras and an advanced music system which includes 10 speakers, a CD Changer which is MP3 compatible, a remote boot opener, AC with dual zone climate control and electric sun room amongst others. The safety features includes six air bags and the xDrive system of the car provides responsive and precise steering, enabling one to drive safely in any weather condition and to instantly detect slippage. The driver can redirect power to the wheels with the most traction.
