The 520d is powered by a 2.0L Inline 4 diesel engine, whereas 530d and 530d Highline are mated with a 3.0L 6-cylinder diesel engine. The 525i, 530i, 520d, 530d/Highline variants generate 212 bhp, 255 bhp, 215 bhp, 177 bhp and 235 bhp of power respectively. All engines are teamed with a standard 6-speed automatic transmission.
