The Mercedes Benz G-Wagen G55 is equipped with a 5.5-litre supercharged petrol engine that churns out 500.2 bhp at 6100rpm and 71.4kgm of torque at 2750rpm. Despite the G55 weighing at 2.5 tonnes, the SUV can sprint from 0-100kph mark in a mere 5.5 seconds with the top speed being 210 kmph. The powerful engine is paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission gearbox, which is very responsive and quick. The very muscular SUV boasts of a permanent all-wheel drivetrain.

The suspension system in the Mercedes Benz G-Wagen G55 features coil spring at the front and torsion bar stabilizer at the rear. The standard equipment COMAND APS systems boasts a high definition 6.5 inches colour display, rapid HDD navigation with aerial view, LIGUATRNIC for controlling audio, navigation and phone systems, a 4GB memory for music files and a slot for SD memory card. Additionally, there is a 6-CD changers, and a universal interface for plugging in USB stucks, iPods and external audio devices.
