Force Motors aims to sell 4,000 units of the car annually and has appointed 22 new dealers across India for the purpose. The SUV is one of the most anticipated launches, due to the reputation of the company for its range of commercial vehicles. Force One will be available in Intense White, Bold Black, Fierce Red, Emphatic Grey and Robust Blue colour options in India.

Force Motors, the Indian utility vehicle manufacturer based in Pune, developed the premium SUV, Force One, with an investment of Rs. 800 crore, targeting the discerning Indian buyer. Powertrain & Performance

Force One is powered by a 2.2 litre common rail (BS IV Compliant) turbo engine, which is paired with a manual five speed gear box. The 4-Cylinder in-Line DOHC, 2149 CC engine of the car is derived from Mercedes Benz, under license from Daimler AG. Several auto parts used in the SUV is imported from Korea and China and tuned by British sports car manufacturer, Lotus. The engine has a maximum power of 139.5 bhp @ 3800 RPM and a maximum torque of 321 Nm @ 1600-2400 RPM.

The car features G32/5 synchromesh Overdrive Gear box, made under license from Diamler AG, which allows the change of gears without interruption to the flow of power. The 5-Speed Manual Transmission Gearbox is optimized for comfort, yielding a sporty driving experience. The high quality, low friction and high torque density gear box featured in Force One uses an innovative dual mass fly wheel (DMFW) technology which allows smooth driving even at low speed with lesser vibration.

The front suspension of the car is an independent double wishbone with coil spring while the rear suspension is a multi link with pan hard rod and coil spring. Force One is equipped with gas charged telescopic shock absorbers in both the front and rear portions and has anti roll bars in both the front and rear axle.
