August Horch founded Audi, which is named after the Latin translation of his surname (the Latin word 'Horch' means "listen" in German). Audi is a world-famous automobile manufacturer based in Germany, which manufactures quality cars that are appealing and technically sound. The Audi insignia, with its four overlapping rings, identifies one of Germany's oldest automobile manufacturers.

The Audi A4 comes with better technical finesse, more comfort, more powerful engines and more intellegence. It sits on cast aluminium wheels in 5-spoke design.

With a host of different colours to choose from and for its amazing performance, Audi is definitely a competitive contender in the luxury car market alongside Mercedes Benz and BMW.

The Audi A4 is available with a choice of three engine variants: 1.8 litre TFSI Petrol, 2.0 litre TDI Diesel and 3.0 litre TDI quattro Diesel engines that churns out 167.6 bhp@3800-6200rpm, 141 bhp @ 4200 rpm and 242 bhp @ 4000-4500 rpm respectively and the maximum torques are 320 Nm @ 1400-3700 rpm, 320 Nm @ 1750-2500 Nm and 500 Nm @ 1400-3250 rpm respectively. It is available with the option of multitronic or 7-speed S-tronic transmission.

The suspension system comprises of independant 4-link in the front and trapezoidal link at the rear which adds to the performance at all speeds, the key to its excellent dynamics on the road.

Audi is known for its amazing design technique, with the fascia generating its strong presence. The exterior features confidently- placed Xenon Plus headlamps with day-time running lights, front fog light, LED rear lights and light and rain sensor. The functional elements are logically placed with the radiator grille possessing high aesthetic calibre in respect of its finish, material and design. The well-flared wheel arches lend extra width to the appearance of the front end.

The interior is luxurious with a 3-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, inlays in wood (walnut brown), Milano leather seat upholstery, floor mats, front center armrest and rear headrest, folding rear seatback. The rightly placed air-vents add that sporty look. The rear end too is given an amazing finish.

The well-lit instrument panel is driver-friendly in the typical Audi way. Audi A4has a leather covered multifunctional 3-spoke steering. The information is communicated predominantly via the instrument cluster. There is ample knee-room at the rear, thanks to the length of the wheelbase.

Audi has not only given importance to performance but safety has also been paramount, as is obvious with the features like anti-theft bolts, anti-theft alarm, auto release function, first aid kit and warning triangle and side airbags, front and rear.
