The ML350 petrol variant comes with a 271 bhp 3.5-litre V6 engine offers exemplary smoothness of operation. It has a top speed of 225 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds.

Both the petrol and diesel engines are mated to a refined 7-speed '7G-TRONIC' automatic transmission. Height adjustable suspension, 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive system, start-stop system, and a Downhill Speed Regulation (DSR) are high-end features that add more punch to the M-Class. The DSR automatically adds to ride safety by controlling the braking, acceleration, and gear changing activities of the car while it is moving down a valley or slope. Large 19-inch alloy wheels offer high levels of stability and control to the powerful SUV.
