Maruti Suzuki SX4 is loaded with a powerful and fuel efficient 1.6-litre In-line 4 VVT petrol engine that churns out a power of 103 bhp@5600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque @4,100 rpm and CNG pumps out 85.8 bhp@5600 rpm and torque of 122 Nm@4000 rpm where as 1.3-litre In-line 4 VGT diesel engine pumps out to 88.7 bhp@4000 rpm and torque of 200 Nm@1750 rpm. The petrol engine of the SX4 returns with an impressive mileage of 15.5 kmpl and the diesel engine returns a mileage of 21.5 kmpl. Maruti Suzuki SX4 is fitted with a 4 speed automatic transmission which requires no changing of gears and imparts hassle free city driving experience. The SX4 green powered by the intelligent i-GPI technology is eco-friendly, big on savings and just as reliable as a vehicle powered by conventional fuels. The suspension system of the Maruti Suzuki SX4 has been designed and developed for a fantastic driving comfort and precise handling on Indian roads both in plain and rough terrains. The front suspension is independent suspension with gas filled McPherson strut and anit roll bar whereas the rear suspension is semi independent torsion beam with gas filled shock absorbers.
