Maruti Suzuki Ritz is available in 7 variants: four in petrol and three in diesel. The Maruti Suzuki Ritz is available in an array of 8 colors which are superior white, silky silver, baker’s chocolate, midnight black, racing green, fire brick red, pearl blue and glistening grey.

Maruti Suzuki Ritz Specifications:

Maruti Suzuki Ritz is equipped with a powerful K-series K12M 1.2 litre, 16 valve engine that churns out a decent power of 86 bhp @ 6000 rpm, with a torque of 113Nm @ 4500 rpm. The engine uses plastic parts, shortened piston skirts, and raisin coatings on the piston to keep the weight of the engine low and also maintain Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH). It also boasts of improved compression ratios which help in easy driving in city conditions. The engine also imparts high fuel efficiency. The lightweight DOHC unit reduces friction, improves durability and delivers a mileage of 17.94 kmpl. The K12M is a more silent engine with reduced vibrations. It is BS IV complaint and the lower emission levels make it more greener and eco-friendly.  The diesel engine with 1.3-litre capacity is sourced from Fiat and modified to comply with the forthcoming emission norms.

Maruti Suzuki Ritz has a good suspension system which has been designed and developed for a fantastic driving comfort even at the tightest corners. The MacPherson front suspension and torsion beam rear suspension keeps the car agile despite the height of the car.

Maruti Suzuki Ritz Exterior and Interior Features:

Maruti Suzuki Ritz has a perfect amalgamation of style and substance with its body colored bumpers, internally adjustable manual ORVM (both sides). The black colored B pillar, body colored outside door mirrors and handles, full wheels covers, alloy wheels, rear wndow defogger, rear wiper and washer are featured in the higher end variants.

The interiors include 60:40 split rear seat, foldable grip assistant, front door trim pocket, front seat head restraint (adjustable), roof antenna, ashtray, cupholder in console, clock, Accessory socket and anti-glare interior rear view mirror. The other features such as rear seat head restraint (adjustable), Tachometer, seatbelt reminder (driver seat), light-off / key reminder, door ajar warning lamp, seat back pocket, front seat under tray, radio and CD with speakers, parcel tray, seat height adjuster, cigar lighter and vanity mirror are present in the higher end variants.

Adding to the comfort are the AC, power steering and double horn. The other features such as the fabric insert on door trim, front and rear door power windows, tilt steering, steering mounted audio controls and keyless entry are present in the higher end variants

Maruti Suzuki Ritz is equipped with many safety features which include iCATS (immobilizer), child lock (rear door) and rear fog lamp. The central locking, front fog lamp, ABS, EBD (brake assist) are available in the higher end variants.
