Maruti Omni Power and performance


Maruti Suzuki Omni gets power from a standard the impressive 800 cc MPFi engine which has two valves-per-cylinder. The Multi-Point Fuel Injection system optimises fuel efficiency. This is the same engine employed in Maruti 800 and gives out 35 bhp and transfers it to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. The 5-seater Omni gets an optional LPG kit fitted from the factory. It delivers 27 bhp at 4,500 rpm and gets a 62.1 litre LPG cylinder plus a 5-litre reserve petrol tank.
