Mahindra Verito comes with revamped exterior that include new eyebrow headlights, chrome plated front grille, stylish new fog lamps, classy new alloy wheels and a new bumper. The variants available are G2, G4, D2, D4 and D6 in both BS III and BS IV. Mahindra Verito is available in two engine options - a flamboyant 4 cylinder, 8 valve, 1390 cc petrol engine churns out a maximum of 75 bhp @ 5500 rpm and a splendid 4 cylinder, 8 valve 1461 cc diesel engine that churns out a maximum of 65 bhp @ 4000 rpm. The engines are mated with 5 speed manual transmission gear box.The suspension device consist of MacPherson-type with wishbone link in the front and H-Section torsion beam with programmed deflection-coil spring at the rear. The interior of Mahindra Verito is luxurious with plush fabric upholstery, instrument panel topper pad, centre console storage space, sunvisors and mobile holders. The exterior features include front grille with chrome top bezel, windshield wiper, reverse light, body colored bumpers and high mount stop lamp. The safety features present are headlamp leveling device, collapsible steering column, anti-theft electronic encoded safety system activated by transponder, front disc brake, child proof rear door locks, halogen headlamps and laminated windshield.
