Mahindra and Mahindra launched its global lifestyle SUV Scorpio Getaway in India in mid-2007. The Getaway is slotted in the pick-up segment and with its flashy design, it targets the young crowd. Available in two variants - 2WD and 4WD. Engine is a 2.6L turbocharged CRDe. A five speed manual transmission comes standard. Exceptionally spacious and luxurious interiors crafted with the finest materials and numerous standard convenience features.

The Mahindra Scorpio Getaway is a lifestyle SUV cum pick-up truck for Indian car market. It is built on the platform of the best-seller SUV - Mahindra Scorpio. Unlike the Scorpio which is a complete SUV, the Getaway carries a large cargo box to the rear. It is available in two variants - 2WD and 4WD and churns out 115 bhp. This SUV comes with a strong muscular front, large tyres and a new generation suspension system. The seating is enhanced with rich fabric offering total cushioning and comfort.
