The petrol version of Hyundai i20 has been hot-selling in the Indian Car market and joining to share its gathered fame is the new Hyundai i20 diesel. The 1.4-litre CRDi engine on the i20 diesel is the same size as its petrol sibling which comes with 1.4-litre GAMMA engine. The CRDi engine uses a DOHC, 16 Valve, Variable Timing Valve Train (VTVT) technology that ensures acceleration, smooth drivability, low emissions and optimum fuel mileage of 20 km/l on average. Delivering a power output of 89 bhp, the CRDi engine is more powerful than the petrol engine of the i20. The new car is available in the same variants as the petrol models. The diesel variants of i20 are priced within the range of Rs 6,19,800 and 7,20,430 (Ex-showroom Delhi Price).
