General Motors launched the Chevrolet Beat in the Indian car market. In fact, it is in India that the Chevy Beat made its world debut. The Beat comes in three variants: 1.2 PS, 1.2 LS, 1.2 LT. All the three variants are powered by a 79 bhp 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine which is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Beat is low on fuel consumption and gives has an average of 18.6 km/l and it is low on carbon emissions too. The Chevrolet Beat is a sporty hatchback that has a window line which is slanted dynamically upward, an arching roofline and sharp sidelines that bring a peppy and edgy look. An exterior-colour-matched instrument panel and door trim are offered either in red, blue or silver which enhances the unified design of the interior and exterior. The interior looks good and feels solid. The Beat comes with safety features like dual-frontal airbags, ABS and Front and Rear Crumple Zone.

The Chevrolet Beat is priced at Rs.3,34,990 (Ex-Showroom Price New Delhi).
