An array of models has entered the Indian auto market in 2007 and 2008. The Tata Motors that has been making a successful journey on Indian roads has rolled out three new variants of the Indigo CS model. They are introduced mainly to brace its position in the sedan segment.

The startling sedan is now available in three new variants petrol ? the GLX variant and two diesel LX variants with the TDI (Turbo-Charged Diesel with Intercooler) and DICOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) engine options. The GLX is equipped with a multi-point fuel injection engine powered by a 32-bit microprocessor which churns out a maximum power of 64 bhp@5200 rpm. The diesel variant comes with the turbo-charged intercooled engine that generates 69 bhp@4500 rpm.

All the three variants have attractive features like front and rear powered windows, a rear windscreen defogger, central locking, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), and power steering. Moreover, the body coloured rub-rails with chrome inserts and outer rear view mirrors give a graceful look. It also carries a new trendy tail light clustered in the rear surrounded by a smart new trimmer rear bumper. The new variants are priced at Rs 4.08 lakh for the GLX, Rs 4.63 lakh for the LX TDi and Rs 5.10 lakh for the LX DICOR model.
