Mahindra Scorpio mHawk Automatic
Mahindra & Mahindra’s most loved Scorpio SUV has now launched with an automatic transmission. The all-new Scorpio Automatic is the first and only SUV in India to incorporate a six-speed fully automatic transmission. The SUV is equipped with in-built intelligent driving modes for an effortless drive and a range of attractive features that offers a greater competitive edge in its segment.
The new Scorpio Automatic is available in two variants, the VLS and VLX. It comes loaded with 6-speed gearbox and is powered by a powerful 2.2litre MHawk engine. It produces 120 bhp at 4000 rpm. The six-speed transmission is fully sealed so that it does not require oil change for entire lifetime. The automatic Scorpio has been stated as a much better SUV to drive both in traffic as well as on the highways.
The Scorpio Automatic allows easy maneuverability in heavy traffic and eliminates the need for regular gear changes. However, the VLX variant is priced at Rs 10.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) while the VLS model has a slightly cheaper price tag of Rs 10.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
