Here is listing the latest cars that came into India in late 2007 and the year 2008.
Tata Sumo Grande
Tata’s Sumo Grande is a far-cry compared to its dismal pre-decessor. This multi-utility vehicle (MUV) is unrecognizable from the boxy Sumo that most Indians had come to accept as a glorified taxi service vehicle. The Sumo Grande was unveiled at the 9th Auto Expo in Delhi in 2008. It is built on a large wheelbase of 2550 mm that offers spacious interiors with adequate legroom for comfortable travel. The front is adorned with large clear lens headlights and massive bumpers that give it a strong stance. The entire design is more aerodynamic and well-chiseled that give this MUV a nice up-market appearance. The Tata Grande is available in three variants that sport a 2.2-litre DICOR diesel engine that churns out a thrilling 118 bhp. A 5-speed manual transmission along with a front-wheel-drive configuration makes this car a good buy. The estimated starting price of the Tata Sumo Grande is Rs 6.54 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
