Premier Auto has made a comeback in India after nine years with a new offering, the Rio. The Premier Rio is a compact SUV available in three variants - Ex, Dx, and Lx. All the variants are powered by a 64 bhp 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Standard features include 15-inch steel wheels, rear window demister, day-night rearview mirror, front power windows, 3-spoke steering wheel, central locking, side impact beams, brake assist, child lock and 3-point ELR seatbelts on the front across all the variants. The top variant of the Rio also offers alloy wheels, roof rails and CD player with AM/FM Radio. Beside, keyless entry and ABS with EBD come as safety features in the top model.
