Maruti Suzuki Eeco
Maruti Suzuki has introduced the replacement of its Versa MPV at the 2010 Auto Expo. It is the Eeco. The five-door MPV is available in three variants, the 5STR STD, 5STR A/C and 7STR STD. All the three variants come with an 1196 cc rear drive petrol engine which is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission with Diagonal Shift Assistance (DSA) technology. The engine can give a power output of 73 bhp. The Eeco 5STR STD and 5STR A/C can accommodate 5 passengers in their two rows of seats while the 7STR STD has a seating capacity for seven people in three rows of seats. Trendy and contemporary body graphics garnish the sides of the Eeco. Standard features include are heater, reclining front seats, sliding driver seat and tubeless tyres. Safety features include crumple zone, headlamp leveling, side impact beams, child lock for sliding door and windows and high mount stop lamp.
