After launching it worldwide last year, Mercedes finally launched the SLS AMG in the Indian market too. The glamorous Mercedes SLS AMG is equipped with a naturally aspirated AMG 6.3-litre V8 front-mid-engine. The engine delivers a peak torque of 571 bhp and 650 Nm and a maximum power output of 420 bhp at 6800 rpm. The SLS AMG engine is coupled with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission with four transmission modes, integrated rear-axle locking differential and Race Start functions. The Mercedes SLS AMG can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in a matter of just 3.8 seconds. The top speed of this super-luxury sports car is 317 kmph. Safety features in the Mercedes SLS AMG include adaptive airbags and kneebags, seat-integrated sidebags and separate window-bags for driver and passenger. Also included are Anti-lock braking system (ABS), Acceleration skid control (ASR), Brake Assist (BAS), Electric parking brake with convenience function and Electronic immobilizer.
