An array of models has entered the Indian auto market in 2007 and 2008. Audi, BMW, Honda, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Volvo, Mercedes, Maruti, and many more are some of the manufacturers that have launched various new models spread across the entire vehicle segment – be it Small Cars, Luxury Cars, SUVs, Coupes, or Convertibles. Mercedes-Benz CL-Class

The CL-Class is a two-door coupe that is available in two variants in India. The CL 500 variant is powered by a 5.5-litre V8 petrol engine that generates 388 bhp. This engine is coupled to a 7G-Tronic 7-speed automatic transmission. This variant rides on 17-inch light alloy wheels. The CL 600 is equipped with a 5.5-litre V12 engine that delivers 517 bhp. This engine is teamed to a 5-speed automatic transmission. This variant displays 18-inch light alloy wheels that give the tyres a distinct style. Both variants come with a rear-wheel-drive configuration. An entertainment system is optional on the CL 500 and standard on the CL 600. The estimated starting price of the CL-Class is Rs. 1.20 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
