Jaguar is a British luxury car maker. It has been the synonym for luxury and style, since it was founded in 1922. The company was initially producing motorcycle sidecars but later, understanding customers, switched on to passenger cars. Leaving behind its initials, SS, the company took the name Jaguar Cars Ltd. after the Second World War. The "leaping Jaguar" is the mascot of the brand. The Jaguar is now owned by the Indian automobile manufacturer Tata Motors and a few of its models has been already launched in India.
