Logix readying UK launch

Mumbai, Dec 28 2007: Bangalore-based Logix Microsystems, which is focused on website customization for new car automobile dealers in the US, is now readying to take its flagship products suite Izmocars to other markets like the UK by June-July. In its core US market, where it has a 5.5 % market share in the space It operates in, the company would launch several new product modules to strengthen Izmocars during the annual New Car Dealer Association convention in February.

Product contribute close to 80% to Logix topline, with the balance coming from enterprise products business, under which it sells software products of companies like Hummingbird in India. The company has recently begin existing the enterprise application space, under which it implemented CRM and SAP applications.

Citing falling margins and intense competition. “We would be in Europe, particularly UK in June-July. In India too we would like to bring all over product range but the market is not ready for them yet. Already we are doing some website customization for a few dealers here and have bought our online marketing tool for Indian market. Next we planning to launch our training program for dealers (for converting web-based leads to sale),” Pankaj Patel the Vice President, India, Logix Microsystems, said.

Under Izmocars, Logix offers a suite of web-based products specially targeted at the new car dealers. It services about 1500 of of the 24000 odd such dealers across the US on a monthly subscription rate of $5000-6000 per month. Our average realization is about $2000-2500 per Dealer per month.” Patel said.
