Buyers are evaluating their favorite cars online before making a purchase.

Bangalore Feb 16 2008: More and more buyers are now evaluating their favorite cars online before making a beeline to the showrooms. So say Carazoo.com, India’s first car portal with interactive animations. A brainchild of Logix Microsystems Ltd, the portal has aimed at the Indian segment. The portal was launched few months ago, and gives users a virtual touch and feel of over 300 cars.

In addition to the 360 degree  exterior view, the interior 360 degree view is also  the viewer a greater virtual touch and feel experience. The paint your car options allows you to view cars painted in all available colors, which is not possible ever if you visit the car showroom!

Pankaj Patel, Vice President-India said, “The response has been highly encouraging and the number of page views proves that we are able to command the attention of the viewer and also we are continuously reinventing our portal for enhancing the user experience.”

The process of buying car on the internet is still met with apprehension, and not without reason. It is still very much a touch and feel business of sales people. Armed with as much info as possible, the customer can walk in feeling empowered, says Patel. The site offers prospective buyers the option to ask for quotations, without having to visit showrooms or make a commitment of any kind.
