ICML New Cars India

International Cars and Motors Ltd. (ICML) is a Himachal Pradesh based car manufacturer belonging to the Sonalika Group which until now specialized in manufacturing tractors. The tractor major entered into a technical collaboration with British car manufacturer MG Rover to create cars. ICML entered the Indian market with its first car model Rhino RX for the MUV segment which is being produced at the company's manufacturing plant located at Amb in Himachal Pradesh.

Rhino RX is the first car from Himachal Pradesh based International Cars and Motors Ltd. which is a subsidiary of the Sonalika Group of Companies. Available in three variants - Winner DI 9/10 Str BS III, Winner DI 10/9 Str (SAC) BS III, and Xciter (DAC) 9/8 Str BS III. All variants are powered by a 100 bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged direct injection diesel engine. Standard features include power steering, 15-inch steel wheels, Cassette player (Winner DI 10/9 Str (SAC) BS III only), CD player (Xciter (DAC) 9/8 Str BS III only), headlamp levelling device, and removable 3rd row seat.

Rigid boxy structure and spacious interiors are highlights of the Rhino, and after the great success of the Rhino Rx ? DI ICML has launched the new and upgraded version of the car with CRD-Fi technology. Available in four main variants - Winner, Xciter, Royale and Delite. All the four main variants are also available with the latest 2.0 L TCIC Common Rail Direct Fuel Injection (CRD-Fi) system having Unique Piezo Effect and offer 120 bhp at 4000 rpm and peak torque of 285 Nm at 1750-2500 rpm. The engine is mated to a rugged 5-speed manual transmission.
