The new Chevrolet Optra Magnum diesel comes with a 2.0-litre TCDi engine that generates a power of 119 bhp and is coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission. The Magnum offers 3 diesel variants. Front headlamps, front grille, bumpers, fenders, and even the interiors have been restyled. Leather upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel, a 2 DIN MP3 Cassette player comes as standard with the top-end variant along with safety features like dual airbags, ABS, and remote keyless entry with burglar alarm. The walnut finish interiors with chrome side mouldings and chromed grip type door handle on the outside give the Magnum a touch of class. The estimated fuel-efficiency is 11/16 km/l (city/highway). The diesel version price starts at Rs. 8.74 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
