Cashing on the festive season, German auto giants Volkswagen has decided to roll out their much-awaited Touareg that is likely to hit the roads very soon.

Hopped up by a sprightly new 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine, and mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, the New Touareg will be priced around Rs 58.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).

The new Touareg will be 40mm longer and 200kgs lighter than its outgoing Touareg modell.

Plus, it will have a slew of swanky features like a Bluetooth audio system a touch-screen audio system, fully-powered seats with memory, a dual-zone climate control system, keyless entry and go, a panoramic sunroof and more boot space. Not to forget that the new five-seater VW Touareg will have all-wheel-drive system.

The New Volkswagen Touraeg will be pitted against the newly launched Mercedes ML-Class and BMW X5.
